In this role he supervised 10 to 22 Collections Officers working on files that included personal, corporate and trust accounts. His role included reviewing staff referrals that involved recommendations for legal and/or enforcement actions on accounts in the mid to high six figures. The referrals ranged from assessing of amounts not remitted or withheld from payroll, as well as GST amounts collected but not remitted. His role also included approving legal collection actions that centred on garnishment of income and attachment and seizure of assets, as well as third party assessment and interception of income. Danny also has experience negotiating and arranging re-payment plans that address both established arrears and ongoing commitments for current obligations. Prior to this role, he began his career at the CRA as a Collections Officer and Technical Advisor.
